California emergency calls surge after chemical leak
Around 50,000 residents in Orange County, California, have been evacuated over the past 4 days after an overheated chemical storage tank raised fears of a major explosion. Californian authorities declared a state of emergency as firefighters worked to contain the risk linked to a highly flammable chemical used in plastic production.
