On 22 April, Việt Nam welcomes President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Jae-Myung, and his spouse, who are paying a state visit to the country. At the Presidential Palace, Party General Secretary and State President Tô Lâm and his spouse presided over an official welcome ceremony for the visiting leader.
The event took place on Wednesday at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China, where Party General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Chinese President and Chairman of the Central Military Commission Xi Jinping delivered a keynote address.
As of noon on Thursday, 2 July Vietnamese rescue teams have recovered 23 bodies from collapsed buildings during earthquake relief operations in Venezuela. The mission has also identified 16 locations where victims were trapped beneath the rubble. Rescue efforts are continuing as teams race against time to search affected areas.
